Shipping Policy

Tilet Co. ships worldwide from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. All pieces are made to order — please allow 8 to 12 weeks for production before shipping commences.
Where We Ship
Tilet Co. ships internationally from our atelier in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We deliver to most countries worldwide. If you are unsure whether we ship to your location, please contact us before placing your commission.
Production Lead Time
Every piece is made to order. Production takes 8 to 12 weeks from the date your commission is confirmed. This reflects the hand-loomed nature of our fabrics and the artisan construction process. You will receive an email confirmation when your commission enters production, and a second notification when your piece is complete and ready to ship.
Shipping Time
Once your piece is complete, it is shipped via a premium international courier (DHL or equivalent). Delivery typically takes 5 to 10 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location and local customs processing.
Your total wait from commission to delivery is therefore approximately 10 to 14 weeks.
Packaging
Each piece is hand-folded in acid-free tissue, placed in a custom Tilet Co. garment box, and sealed before dispatch. The outer shipping box is selected to ensure the garment arrives in the same condition it left our atelier. A signed delivery is required for all orders.
Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can use this to monitor your shipment through the courier's website. Tilet Co. is not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
Customs & Import Duties
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the price of your commission. Tilet Co. is not able to predict or control these charges.
We recommend contacting your local customs authority for guidance before placing your commission if you have concerns about import fees.
Lost or Undelivered Shipments
If your tracking shows a delivery attempt was made but the package was not received, please contact the courier directly in the first instance. If the issue is not resolved within 10 business days, contact us at atelier@tiletstudio.com and we will assist in the investigation. Tilet Co. is not responsible for packages that are undeliverable due to an incorrect shipping address provided at the time of commission.
