Made to Order

Every piece offered by Tilet Co. is made to order. By submitting a commission, you are commissioning the creation of a garment specifically for you. Production begins within seven days of your confirmed commission. No two pieces are identical — minor natural variations in hand-loomed fabric are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of commission. All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD). Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By completing your commission, you authorise Tilet Co. to charge the full amount to the payment method provided.

Tilet Co. reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect commissions already placed and paid.

Cancellations

Due to the bespoke nature of our work, commissions may not be cancelled once production has begun. If you wish to cancel before production has started — within 48 hours of placing your commission — please contact us immediately at atelier@tiletstudio.com. Cancellations after this window cannot be accepted.

Production & Lead Time

Each piece requires 8 to 12 weeks from confirmed commission to completion. This timeline reflects the hand-loomed nature of our fabrics and the artisan construction process in Addis Ababa. Production timelines are estimates and may vary due to material availability or other factors. You will be notified of any significant delays.

Intellectual Property

All designs, imagery, text, and content on this website are the exclusive property of Tilet Co. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Tilet Co.'s liability in connection with any commission is limited to the value of that commission. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any dispute arising from a commission placed through this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, unless otherwise required by the law of your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated date at the top of this page. Commissions placed before any change are governed by the terms in effect at the time of placement.
